In the mid-nineties Nokia launched the first mobile phone, in that time Nokia was a company engaged in several areas, but it became global and best known for reaching the world after entering the mobile phone market. The long-term vision of the company and the ability to read the market for the next ten years between 1996 to 2006; make it and swept the world and became first thing that comes to the mind of any consumer looking for a mobile phone "Mobile". Nokia until 2006 earn 20% of the global market for mobile phones, and then ended up in the year 2013 for only 3% of the global market, its lost of an estimated 85% of its market share, but why?
There was many reasons for that , but the primary reason is that the policy of Nokia which made it loss significant share of the global market and a large segment of consumers are loyal to the company “Loyal Customers”, but why did Nokia lose all this loss ?
Answer: Nokia has not keep developing in the services provided in portable devices , " smart devices " . in addition, its applications were not available and match with the requirement of  the majority consumers in the world.
So, What does the average consumer want in the mobile phone smart ? They want; easy to use , high-performance , easy maintenance, availability of spare parts , and advance tech. in mobile devices like; touch screen , fingerprint , eye protection , backup , etc..
And, what does the average consumer ask in smart devices Apps. store ? they look for a variety of developers and a wide range of programs either free copies with the ability to pay for an upgraded copy of the same software or paid ones.
Nokia lost a lot because of much confidence in their products , and do not meet the requirements of consumers, as internal factors. However; externally Nokia lost because of high competition from Samsung and Apple as a competitor and the rest of the major phone makers other competitors such as Blackberry.
Nokia had committed to run its system Symbian, while it notice its failure to compete with  Android and operating system for iPhone. So, Nokia tried to revive its products in partnership with Microsoft and use Windows as an operation system to its mobile devices, without notice the bad experience of previous Windows partners; I-mate and HTC. Nokia did not reach what it hope for reviving its products with a camera and a modern Windows operating system, and loss more and more in the mobile market share.
On the other hand, in 2007 apple launched the first iphone, with a new operation system and new features which not familiar by majority of consumer, iphone was a triple device “ the iPod touch widescreen, mobile phone and internet device ”. In that time, Nokia was the top mobile device company in the world and iphone not competitor yet.
Indeed, apple did not stop, but continued over the years six to many improvements and enhancements, and to coincide with that became improvement store applications “App Store” and introduced many great features, and each device has been the development of many of the things in terms of design, services and features.

Today and because of the iPhone, most of the companies offer new devices and new features in their devices to compete with the iPhone, while everyone knows without thinking that the most popular and the most desire device is iphone.
