Assignment #5

(Daniel, 2006) described the following six senses:
Design: Design is the nature of human to shape something that does not exist already and that is according to our needs and can give meaning to our lives.  In today’s world, it is very important to create something that is beautiful and that can emotionally engage others. The companies should have a design book, the employees should read design magazines, should visit the design museum.
Story: Stories are important mental process events. They give knowledge, information, emotions and context. Businesses are realizing that stories are becoming source of big money. The companies can write a mini-saga, use tape-recorders for recording, can ask employees to visit a storytelling festival.
Symphony: According to symphony, synthesis is the greatest demand today. It involves seeing the big picture, to cross the boundaries, to combine the pieces and making the new whole. The companies should listen to great symphonies.
Empathy: It is the ability of a person to understand the feelings of others by imaging yourself in other’s position. Empathy gives us pleasure and makes us human being. The employees should test their empathy quotient. The employees should not outsource their empathies.
Play: (Daniel, 2006) described that, the employees should work along with laughter, games and humor. If the employees will not play then they will be in depression. The employees should play right-brain games.
Meaning: In today’s world, we work for a motive, a purpose and for spiritual fulfillment. According to Daniel, one should say thank and should not make excuses, should dedicate his/her work.
This book confirms my own perception in the context of sense of design, story, empathy and meaning because I also perceive the same. I also think that creativity is important in today’s world. I also agree with storytelling, understanding others feelings, and meaning. The sense of play has challenged my own perception in a way that I didn’t think that playing games is important factor.
While transforming myself into a joyous and effective knowledge worker, I have to face many obstacles.  I shall have an obstacle of communicating with others in a workplace. There can be difficulty related to differences in languages, cultural differences. Every employee does not know much about his/her co-workers so I as a worker will find in difficulty in understanding the nature of other persons.
There can be technical and geographical barriers while transforming myself into a joyous and effective knowledge worker.
It will be difficult for me to build new designs. I would not have knowledge of what other like or not. I will have to make the things creative in such a way that others will like. As according to (Daniel, 2006) I should do the work with pleasure. But if I am a serious and angry person then it will be difficult for me to do the work with joy and pleasure. So it can be one of the obstacles that I have to face while transformation.
If I am a shy person i.e. I am an introvert person then it will be much difficult for me to communicate well with the employees. (Daniel, 2006) described that one should understands the feelings of others and should share their knowledge and stories with others. So, it will be difficult for me to communicate well with other employees and co-workers.
I should have a proper meaning in my life. I should know that what is the purpose of my life or what is the motive of my work. So, it would might be difficult for me to define a proper meaning to my life and defining a purpose of my work.

The main appeal of neural networks is their ability to follow the brain’s pattern-recognition skills. usually involves a large number of processors operating in parallel, each with its own small field of knowledge and access to data in its internal memory. In general, a Neural Network is primarily fed large amounts of data and rules about data interactions. with commercial applications of this ability, Neural Networks have been used to recognize handwriting, make investment decisions, and even detect illness. Many banks and financial company use Neural Networks, to study potential financial markets opportunities. In addition, Neural Networks are used in fraud detection. Expert systems are computer applications that consist of; computer equipment, software, and specialized information to emulate expert human interpretation and advice. As a branch of artificial intelligence, Expert systems provide specific advice and explanation to their users. While artificial intelligence is a wide field dealing with many portions of computer thought, Expert systems are more narrowly focused. in general, Expert systems function best with specific activities or problems. Expert systems are used widely in commercial and industrial services, including medicine, finance, manufacturing, and sales. Easydiagnosis.com offers an excellent example of Expert systems, that their expert system software provides a medical description and directory for the most possible situation based on an analysis of client symptoms. “Easydiagnosis focuses on the most common medical complaints that account for the majority of physician visits and hospitalizations”. http://easydiagnosis.com/.

There was many reasons for that , but the primary reason is that the policy of Nokia which made it loss significant share of the global market and a large segment of consumers are loyal to the company “Loyal Customers”, but why did Nokia lose all this loss ?
Answer: Nokia has not keep developing in the services provided in portable devices , " smart devices " . in addition, its applications were not available and match with the requirement of  the majority consumers in the world.

And, what does the average consumer ask in smart devices Apps. store ? they look for a variety of developers and a wide range of programs either free copies with the ability to pay for an upgraded copy of the same software or paid ones.
Nokia lost a lot because of much confidence in their products , and do not meet the requirements of consumers, as internal factors. However; externally Nokia lost because of high competition from Samsung and Apple as a competitor and the rest of the major phone makers other competitors such as Blackberry.
Nokia had committed to run its system Symbian, while it notice its failure to compete with  Android and operating system for iPhone. In that time, Nokia was the top mobile device company in the world and iphone not competitor yet.
Indeed, apple did not stop, but continued over the years six to many improvements and enhancements, and to coincide with that became improvement store applications “App Store” and introduced many great features, and each device has been the development of many of the things in terms of design, services and features.
